Wings of Time and Fate had me riveted from the first page. Seriously, this is a gorgeous book! Eona is a character I couldn’t help but adore, and the worldbuilding is everything I look for in a fantasy novel—gorgeously written, well-built, with its own lore and magical systems.
The creatures were amazing and they were described so well, I could believe they were real. I wanted my own little peryton.
I also really enjoyed the interspersed snippets from “nonfiction” books written in this fictional world. They added backstory in a way that felt charming and didn’t intrude too much on the forward plot, and in themselves, added more dimension to the world.
Wynter has created a lush, magical tale, beautifully told.
